December 4, 2023 was another special day for Champions International Schools when the staff of Champions celebrated their annual end of the year party.
The gathering which took place at the open ground of the Senior College strictly allowed the attendance of staff and their spouses. The event was for staff to merry with one another and get to know one another’s families to better the existing relationships among them.
The CEO, Mrs. Abosede Adekeye said this after the performance of the Champions Staff Choir (C.S.C). “This gathering is organized for members to get to know each other better, to eat and be happy together after all the stress experienced throughout the year.” She further said that the gathering was to give thanks to God for His faithfulness among staff and students and to show oneness and equality. “We are one. There may be heads of various departments for the smooth running of the institution but we are one and equal. This is the aim of this gathering and for this aim not to be defeated, please let us see ourselves as one and love genuinely,” she emphasized.
The Director of Studies (DS), Mr. Fola Adekeye in his short teaching advised staff to not allow their anointings turn annoying-things. “Anointing without skill amounts to nothing. Anointing without hard-work, honesty and good character will become annoying-thing,” he stressed. “We all carry great anointings and the only way it can be useful is when we back it up with skills, honesty, good character and hard-work,” he explained.
The gathering later witnessed the send off of Mrs. Bamidele, the former Head Mistress (HM) of the Primary School. According to the CEO, she had tendered her resignation letter three months ago. Mrs. Adekeye applauded her incredible and selfless service to the organization. “May God always be with you and your family wherever you go in Jesus name,” she prayed.
The Director of Studies appreciated the outgoing virtuous woman, Mrs. Bamidele and announced the new Head Mistress, Mrs Daramola. However, he believed that the new HM will further take the Primary School to next level of excellence.
Daddy and Mommy Champions’ dance, couple’s games and other merriment among others were observed, making the celebration memorable. Also, the three schools, Primary, Junior and Senior Schools respectively had their jolly dance.
