Abraham Lincoln once said, “The best way to predict your future is to create it.” Future leaders of Champions International Schools are on healthy competition of creating their future through excellent performance in their academics; the purest way to predict their own future by themselves.
At the Junior College this morning while on the assembly, the best among the best were called out to be celebrated as governors and deputy governors of their respective classes. Owing to their best to becoming exceptional among their peers and the self discipline that has brought them into limelight through their academic performance, they were celebrated and cheered.
While addressing the children, the Director Of Studies (DS), Mr. Fola Adekeye challenged them to strive harder to becoming excellent like their mates on the other side of the assembly. He said there is always the other side of the crowd and only few strong people can belong there. “Be determined and work hard so that you can also belong to the other side of the crowd,” he said. “They are once in the crowd like you but excellence has separated them from the ordinary,” he concluded.
With serious attention, he challenged the boys to sit up as few were found among the governors that were called out. He urged them to be the determinants of their destinies through moral and academic excellence.
For the success the newbies have attained, they were cheered and celebrated as they received hand shake from the DS, Principal, Vice Principals, HODs and other managers of the school.
